OUR STORY
Edge Fiber and Wireless Development LLC officially launched on February 1st, 2021. It was a longtime dream of President Mike Gardner and his best friend Kyle Ford. Kyle tragically passed away unexpectedly while he and Mike were working in the field in November 2019.
Kyle's wife Kelley was left to raise their 2 children after he passed away. When Mike and his wife Sarah committed to launching Edge, they immediately thought of Kelly and the kids. Their first priority has always been to make sure Kyle’s family is cared for.
In November of 2020, Edge was forged. Then, in February of 2021, Edge officially launched. Mike, along with his wife and 9 others, took a leap of faith and never looked back.
Fast forward to 2025, Edge has maintained continuous growth and has now quickly become a leader in the Telecommunications Industry.

BUSINESS ASSOCIATIONS
SEGRA & SHENTEL
Team members have worked with Shentel and Segra to provide engineering services for development of over hundreds of fiber optic laterals and fiber to the home (FTTH) designs.
Services included: field surveys, both pole and right-of-way, make-ready engineering, easement research, OSP design for FTTx, permitting, and Mapcom Systems M4 Drafting.
VERIZON WIRELESS
Team members have over 20 years of combined wireless experience working with Verizon Wireless as well as other telecommunications companies.
Services included: Construction management and engineering support for New Site Builds, fiber backhaul, antenna modifications, generator upgrades, HVAC upgrades and other special projects. Supporting from site design and construction drawings to final project completion.

Here at Edge, we prioritize our employees and their families through flexibility and genuine care. We are able to work ahead of schedule because we take time to recognize and cultivate an environment that is fun and safe to work at. Every other Monday we gather as a team and discuss any necessary work topics, but try to focus on having a time to relax and enjoy each other's company.
